ABOUT KATHLEEN
(aka your mid-life mapmaker, fellow wayfinder, and biggest cheerleader)
Hey there! I’m Kathleen—
Matriarch-Queen. Sharpie-marker enthusiast. Strategy ninja. Recovering over-achiever turned joyful ritual-maker. A Gigi who moonlights as a read-aloud diva and posh powder-room scout. I’m equal parts science nerd and story lover—and I help women in mid-life find their way through the fog, frustration, and WTH-ness of change.
When perimenopause hit, it hit hard.
Way harder than puberty ever did.
Night sweats, insomnia, metabolism shifts, and mood spirals weren’t the worst of it—what shook me was how utterly unprepared I felt for the emotional and existential weight of it all.
S
uddenly, I needed a bigger container—for all the questions, feelings, and inner stirrings that were rising up.
And when I went searching for help, I found… noise. Half-truths. Not enough meaning.
So I did what I do best: I got curious.
I followed every thread that called to me—from neuroscience and psychology to mythology, biology, Celtic wisdom, archetypes, and the Enneagram.
I mapped the maze. I made rituals. I took notes. I tried things. I failed forward.
And what I create now—books, tools, coaching, and spaces for reflection—is what I wish I’d had back then.
A way to make this season sacred and doable.
A way to live through it, not just with it.
A way to stop asking, “What’s the matter with me?” and start living into, “What truly matters to me?”

What qualifies me to guide you?
I’ve spent over four decades helping people learn, lead, grow, and transform.
I’m a:
Workshop creator & facilitator
Curriculum designer
Online content creator & resource specialist
College professor & high school educator
Literacy expert, mentor, and coach
Enneagram practitioner
Aromatherapist (yes, really!)
Former cheerleading coach & cross-country coach
Published author
International coach and speaker on personal and professional development
I’ve been part of teams who guide school districts, and I’ve trained educators, mentored leaders, and built courses from scratch. But the work I do now—with you—is my heart work. My soul work. The work I was made for.
More than anything, I’m infinitely curious about the practical magic to be found in this ancient wisdom:
“To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.”
