Perimenopause hit me much harder than menarche did, so that my mid-life Topsy Turvy left me feeling as though I was in need of a much bigger container to hold all that I was thinking, feeling, and experiencing as night sweats, insomnia, a changing metabolism, and a decades’ long habit of overfunctioning & under-living wreaked havoc in my body.
My lifelong fascination for all things Time & Tale, Compass & Maze guided me into many an interesting rabbit hole as I sought to make sense of my own menopausal journey.
I took the most promising threads and practices from a multitude of disciplines—including science, pyschology, coaching, the Enneagram, Campbell’s archetypes, Pinkola-Estes’ approaches to mythology and fairy tale, practices pulled from the Celtic tradition, and my own extensive background with christology and literature, and experimented with them, finally selecting the threads that proved most practical.
Part What-to-Know & part Know-How, what I create is nothing more or less than what I myself needed and couldn’t find out there: an approach that is a unique unpacking of ancient truths & embodied wisdom for women living in real time, right this minute.
